The “stronger sex” is vulnerable after all… the one-day check-up for the busy man.
Berlin: Four ambitious medical practitioners, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Lothar Weißbach, the former President of the German Cancer Association, and now the Director of the Foundation of Men’s Health, want to advise men in health matters in Berlin’s first interdisciplinary Male Health Centre. Through preventive medical examinations at the center, we look at and consider why men have, on average, a life span that is six years shorter than that of women. Preventive medical examinations are still a weak point with the “stronger sex”. |
